<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device excellent in heating property, by: selecting a heating coil with excellent heating property; and specifying operating parameters of the heating coil. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating device includes two identical heating coils 1 facing each other, and there are defined an effective series resistance of a single coil body of one side out of the two coils as Rw (Ω) and an effective series resistance of the one side as Rs (Ω) when the coil of the other side is short-circuited. The highest frequency at which the heating coil 1 being the coil of the one side satisfies a relation that Rs is larger than Rw is defined as f1 (Hz). A coil having the f1 of≥100 kHz is selected as the heating coil 1. The heating coil 1 is driven at a frequency of≤f1 (Hz) by a heating control circuit 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
