PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a sealing material or a foreign matter sometimes enters a gas apparatus on a flow of gas and adheres to a shaft connecting a valve element and a movable iron piece, and since the valve element is moved in the valve closing direction by only an energizing force of a spring in closing the valve, if the sealing material or the like adheres to the shaft, the valve element often stops in the midway so that the valve element cannot be closed, resulting in a so-called residual flame state that even if a gas burner is not extinguished in spite of extinguishing operation when the valve element of a motor safety valve cannot be closed. SOLUTION: When an abnormal situation where it is preset to inhibit the gas burner from being kept in an ignition state occurs, a movable electromagnet is moved in the valve closing direction no matter how the movable electromagnet is in an excited state, thereby pressing the valve element to a valve seat through a movable iron piece.
