The frame (1) has multiple hollow bodies (2a-2d) extending parallel to a longitudinal axis and designed as longitudinal beams. Two cross beams (4, 5) extending parallel to the longitudinal axis and connectable with the hollow bodies. The hollow bodies are arranged partially for receiving of installation lines or formed automatically as the installation lines. The hollow body (2a) is provided with connection elements (16, 19) at an end. The hollow body (2c) is provided with closing elements (26) at an end. An independent claim is also included for an extruder with a frame.
