<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus of radio communicating improved in a position tracking system. <P>SOLUTION: A method of transmitting a control command to a sensor in the position tracking system includes a process for producing a driving signal for driving a field generator. A control signal including the control command is superposed on the drive signal. The field generator is driven by the driving signal, and produces a field detected by the sensor. In order to search the position coordinates of the sensor and to restore the control signal and to extract the control command, the field is detected by the sensor.
