PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bagging apparatus and a bagging method for a powder/granular material, which make it possible to stably and easily bag the powder/granular material, such as cement or fertilizer, in a small lot, for example, one to several bags of 25 kg/bag, or 25 kg to about 100 kg, which also allows one person to safely bag the powder/granular material alone. SOLUTION: The bagging apparatus for the powder/granular material comprises a hopper 1 that stores the powder/granular material, a screw conveyor 2 that is disposed below the hopper 1 and conveys the powder/granular material, a nozzle 3 that is coaxially and integrally provided at the leading end of the screw conveyor 2, attaches or detaches the bag 9 for storing the powder/granular material, and feeds the powder/granular material conveyed from the screw conveyor 2, into the bag 9, a motor 4 that drives the screw conveyor 2, and a switch 5 that controls the operation of the motor 4.
