摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which is manufactured reduced in size even if it has a lock mechanism which prevents retreat movement after the operation of a supporting rod. <P>SOLUTION: This actuator A is constituted to move a piston 38 arranged in a cylinder 21 together with the supporting rod 45 connected to the piston 38 by making an operating fluid G flow into the cylinder 21, and has the lock mechanism R for regulating the retreat movement of the supporting rod 45 which has advancingly moved. The lock mechanism R has: a lock pin 43 which can be protruded from the external peripheral surface along the shaft rotating direction of the piston 38; a flow-in passage 40 which makes the operating fluid G flowing into the cylinder 38 flow into the passage; and a locking face 25 for locking the lock pin 43. The lock pin 43 is protruded from the external peripheral surface of the piston 38 by using the pressure of the operating fluid G flowing into an accommodation region 39 of the lock pin 43 through the flow-in passage 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
