PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a greater effect in ensuring communication reliability and effectively utilizing radio resources, than that of the prior art, in a transmission apparatus for vehicle-to-vehicle communication. SOLUTION: On the basis of the structure of a road on which a vehicle travels (205, 230, 210, 245, 250), an on-vehicle radio unit varies a transmission strength, transmission direction range and transmission frequency of a radio signal (220, 225, 235, 240, 255, 260).
