PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blur correction device, capable of correcting the rotation wobbling, arising in an optical head mounted on a universal head mechanism and of correcting the horizontal movement shake. SOLUTION: The image blur correction device is incorporated in a suspension optical device, having an optical head 100 and a universal head 101 rotating the optical head 100 and connecting with an installation face 106. The device also includes an image blur correcting means (optical correcting part 113) and rotation shake detecting means (yaw angle speed sensor 108 and pitch angle speed sensor 109), disposed on the optical head 100 and detecting the rotation shake of the optical head. Furthermore, the device includes a horizontal movement wobble detecting means (acceleration sensor 107), disposed on the universal head 101 and detecting the horizontal movement shake perpendicular to the installation face 106, and a tilting angle acquiring means (microcomputer 110) for acquiring the tilting angle of the optical head 100.
