PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce unwanted radiation in a plasma display panel display device. SOLUTION: The display device 200 includes a plasma display panel (PDP) 1 having a pair of electrodes, conductive members 2a to 2c, and a pair of driving circuits used to apply voltages to the electrodes. The conductive members 2a to 2c each has substantially the same width and height as those of the PDP1, and are disposed on the rear side of the PDP1 in this order on the rear side of the PDP. The PDP1 and the conductive members 2a to 2c are electrically connected to one another in the end portions of these elements, either directly or via driving circuits 3 and 4 so that the direction of a current flowing in the PDP1 during driving and discharging coincides with the direction of a current flowing in the conductive member 2c, and is opposite from the direction of currents flowing in the conductive members 2a and 2b.
