PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a breaker rating for a circuit breaker by electronic control. SOLUTION: The electronic controller 225 includes a memory 208 to store circuit breaker ratings, a breaker rating switch 205 to select the circuit breaker ratings, and a microprocessor 212 suitably and applicably coupled to the breaker rating switch and the memory. The microprocessor 212 interprets a selected circuit breaker rating in the breaker rating switch 205, sets amplification gain adjustment for the circuit breaker based on the selected circuit breaker rating, and transmits the selected circuit breaker rating to the memory 208 for storage in the memory.
