PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new roof structure for insulating heat radiation by using a sheet, and to provide a roof construction method. SOLUTION: The roof structure 100 is set up by laying the sheet 1 on rafters 2, and setting roofing boards 21 (roof materials 11) on the sheet 1. Thus the operator can lay the sheet 1 from above the rafters 2, and therefore working efficiency is improved. Further thanks to the improved working efficiency, standardized laying of the sheet 1 is achieved without variations among individual operators, which leads to positive implementation of designed performance.
