PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle bed having fluid flowing duct capable of decreasing a require amount of fluid to the minimum. SOLUTION: The needle bed 1 includes splinters 4 for forming the needle-passing duct 5 and the splinters are constructed in a comb-like shape. In the comb, concave parts 28 to 37 are formed between individual teeth and arranged so that the fluid may be fed to the needle bed duct 5 and discharged. The groove 12 receiving the splinters 4 form the distribution space. In the distribution space, the fluid to distributed to the knitting tools is distributed by one part of the splinters 4, in which the one part preferably is larger than the half of the length of each of the splinters.
