PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of inhibiting the moisture infiltration via an organic film, improving reliability, and stably obtaining high-grade image quality, and to provide an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: On a side inner than a sealing region outermost end TOS of a sealing region 14, and on a side outer than an outer peripheral end TOP of a pixel region PXLA 10, organic film removal regions 1131, 1221 where organic films for forming planarizing layers 113, 122 are removed are formed on an array substrate 11, and a counter substrate 12.
