PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of improving ride quality in a vehicle even with a hydraulic type actuator. SOLUTION: In the actuator A equipped with a cylinder C interposed between a vehicle body B and a bogie W of a railroad vehicle, a hydraulic pump 1 driven by a motor M for supplying fluid pressure to the cylinder C, and a control part 20 for controlling the motor M by feeding back the position of the cylinder C, for tilting the vehicle body B with respect to the bogie W, a low pass filter 25 is provided for filtering a control signal generated in or fed back to the control part 20.
