<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine a role in a key sharing process in an ad-hoc network. <P>SOLUTION: A first communication apparatus acquires identification information of a second communication apparatus that functioned as the providing apparatus in an encryption key sharing process performed among a plurality of apparatuses present on a network which the first communication apparatus is to join, and determines whether the first communication apparatus is to function as the providing apparatus or as the receiving apparatus based on the result of a comparison between the acquired identification information of the second communication apparatus and identification information of the first communication apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
