PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical bearing excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The spherical bearing includes: a large ball 41; the spherical small ball retainer 42 consisting of an upper side bowl-like small ball retainer 42a and a lower side bowl-like small ball retainer 42b, with their top faces arranged oppositely; a plurality of small balls rotatably held by the spherical small ball retainer; and a housing 46 having a spherical cavity storing the spherical small ball retainer together with the plurality of small balls, and also having an opening at least in either one of the top and the bottom. The top face 43a of the upper side bowl-like small ball retainer and that 43b of the lower side bowl-like small ball retainer are joined via a joining means through a connecting means 47.
