<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for notifying a client about a more inexpensive delivery method, when the delivery charge of a delivery of deferred payment exceeds the upper limit of a delivery charge which has been previously decided by the client. <P>SOLUTION: This delivery charge charging system has an attendant terminal 7, a data registration server 10, a charge charging server 16, and a charging server 21. The data registration server 10 receives information regarding the delivery contents and the delivery charge from the attendant terminal 7; compares the upper limit of the delivery charge included in the delivery contents with the delivery charge; transmits the delivery method, at a less expensive charging than the delivery charge to a customer server 25, when as a result, the delivery charge exceeds the upper limit of receiving a delivery change notification from the customer terminal 25; and transmits the delivery charge, according to the received delivery method to the charge charging server 16.
