<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a permanent magnet capable of reducing a manufacturing cost without breaking the coating of a grain-boundary phase and without decreasing the size of a main phase by an extremely simple method, to provide the permanent magnet manufactured by the method, and to provide a rotor with the permanent magnet and an IPM motor with the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the permanent magnet includes a first step of manufacturing the permanent magnet 1, a second step of forming two or more of divided and cut pieces 13 by dividing and cutting the permanent magnet 1, and a third step of restoring the permanent magnet by mutually fitting the divided and cut surfaces of the adjacent divided and cut pieces 13 and 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
