<p>The present invention refers to a thin- film solar cell which is contacted from the rear- side. The invention is based on a combination of thin- film solar cells, e.g. wafer equivalents, with the emitter wrap- through (EWT) technology. The present invention also provides a process for manufacturing these solar cells.</p>
