摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique dealing with the case when a maintenance period arrives during a job of forming an image on a paper sheet.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes: a maintenance managing section 14 for determining whether timing for a maintenance arrives for the apparatus during the image formation based on job data before the image formation based on the job data in an image forming section 80 and controlling so that the image formation is stopped when a determined result indicates the maintenance timing; and a user interface control section 11 for controlling so that a warning output regarding the maintenance timing for the apparatus is carried out from a display section 41 based on stopping of the image formation.
