PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid distributing method controlling uneven distribution of liquid, an apparatus for discharging liquid droplets, and a manufacturing method of a color filter using the method or the apparatus. SOLUTION: The liquid distributing method comprises the step of arranging liquid to a plurality of predetermined areas set on a substrate by discharging the liquid from a plurality of nozzles while the substrate and a head having the nozzles move relatively at least in a main scanning direction. The nozzles are arranged at predetermined intervals in a vertical scanning direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction. When the plural predetermined areas are arranged along the main scanning direction, the discharge from the nozzles is carried out using two or more different drive frequencies to the line along the main scanning direction of the predetermined area corresponding from the nozzle, and the liquid is arranged in each predetermined area.
