PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof concrete segment which can prevent damage of a surface layer portion thereof caused by explosive fracture. SOLUTION: The fireproof concrete segment 1 is manufactured by mixing: concrete 3 containing cement, fine aggregate 2, coarse aggregate 7, and water; organic fibers 4 vaporized at a predetermined temperature (a temperature which the fireproof concrete segment 1 is assumed to reach in case of fire or the like, e.g. on the order of 250 to 500°C); an admixture or an admixing agent 5 for improving the inseparability of the materials of the concrete 3; and steel fibers 6 for improving the tenacity of the fireproof concrete segment 1 after hardening, with each other at a predetermined ratio.
