A hand shaking correction control circuit and an imaging device equipped with the same are provided to precisely correct vibration such as hand shaking at low power consumption. An optical hand shaking corrector(20) corrects an optical axis according to an output signal of a vibration detector(50). An electronic hand shaking corrector properly modifies an effective area among an image sing of an imaging area formed by an imaging device. A controller(220) switches a first imaging mode and a second imaging mode. The controller enables the optical or electronic hand shaking corrector by switching the first or second imaging mode.
