<p>The tube e.g. klystron (100), has an evacuated or gas-filled region (110), in which a set of electrodes (140, 190) and a sensor device (150) for measuring temperature of one of the electrodes are arranged. The sensor device has a pyrometric sensor (160), where the pyrometric sensor or an optical element upstream to the pyrometric sensor is protected by a closure (170), which can be closed or opened in an electronic or electro mechanical manner. A housing (120) made of insulating heat resistant material e.g. glass, encloses the evacuated region. An independent claim is also included for a system containing a tube.</p> |
