<p>Magnets with a residual magnetism of at least 600 millitesla (mT) are used as permanent magnets (32) and pieces to control flux (33) form a single piece with a pole casing (28). Using a combination of magnets with higher residual magnetism and a correspondingly large cross-section in the pole casing for magnetic back iron enables the pieces for controlling flux to be molded directly onto the pole casing. All this means a distinct saving on materials and manufacturing costs.</p> |
