<p>Atmosphere-protecting apparatus, with an exhaust gas condensation catalyst unit, has an exhaust gas pipe (5) encased in a water-filled jacket (6) and a non-thermally coupled flanged mouthpiece with a thermal insulating ring between the flanges (2a). The pipe is divided downstream of the mouthpiece into two parallel pipes (1a, 1b), one having a bend, leading upwards and containing a pressure ventilator (7). A photocell (2) activates a motor-driven gas valve (4). Atmosphere-protecting apparatus, based on a unit with an exhaust gas condensation catalyst, comprises an exhaust gas pipe (5) encased in a water-filled jacket (6) and a non-thermally coupled flanged mouthpiece comprising an annular disk of heat-resistant thermal insulation located between flanges (2a) and thermally separating the jacketed exhaust pipe and the mouthpiece (which is optionally enclosed in a cooling jacket). The exhaust pipe is divided downstream of the mouthpiece into two parallel pipes (1a, 1b) (of same or different diameter), one (1b) having a sharp bend and leading upwards. A soot filter chamber, above a receiving support for a pressure ventilator (7), is provided in the bent pipe (1b). A photocell (2) activates the opening and closing of motor-driven exhaust gas valve (4), dependent on the presence of soot or fine dust components, so that exhaust gas can be directed through the tube with the soot filter using the ventilator.</p> |
