An erosion protection shield (10) is arranged in front of the flow-off edge for preventing water droplet erosion. The shield is arranged along a longitudinal alignment (11) of the vane. The vane comprises chord length, and the shield has breadth of 5 percentages to 75 percentages of the chord length.
