A copyright protection method for an on-line phonograph record utilization system is provided to promote a user who has an authorized license to use sound source data conveniently and provided to protect the sound source data in various ways. The sound source data of a sound source part are defined are plural sections, and a user deletes one section of the sound source data included in a non-volatile memory(S306). The user transmits the deletion-completed data to the sound source side(S307). When the sound source side receives the deletion-completed data from the user, another section continued from the one section of the sound source data is transmitted to the user(S308). |
