GREEN PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER

A green pigment composition containing metal oxides and dispersants and a color filter using the same are provided to manufacture the color filter with excellent dispersion stability and high optical transmissivity. A green pigment composition for a color filter comprises: 100 parts of pigment; 1-50 parts of binder resin; 10-80 parts of dispersant; 0.1-10 parts of metal oxides whose mean size is 10-50% as much as the mean size(D50) of pigments; and 10-1000 parts of solvent. The metal oxides are selected from the group consisting of silicone oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide and their mixture. The specific surface area of the metal oxides is 10~100m/g.
