AT-DMB RECEVER AND CHANNEL FILTER THEREOF

An advanced terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver and a channel filter thereof are provided to improve channel estimation and compensation capabilities. A phase distortion measurer(220) performs hard decision on an nth symbol whose phase distortion is compensated. The phase distortion measurer determines phase distortion values corresponding to each subcarrier of the nth symbol, by using the nth symbol and hard decision results of the nth symbol. A channel filter(230) interpolates the phase distortion values, and determines phase distortion estimation values corresponding to the plural subcarriers of the nth symbol. The channel filter delays the phase distortion estimation values as one symbol, and outputs the delayed values.
