Apparatus for converting heat energy into electrical energy contains at least one converting module. The module comprises at least one radiator with thermoluminescent coating, infrared band photocell and a concentrator. The concentrator is opposite the radiator with thermoluminescent coating. Infrared radiation is directly concentrated onto the infrared band photocell.
