The structure (1) has left and right lateral flanges (2, 4) connected with each other and arranged next to and distant from one another along a lateral direction (Y) sensibly parallel to a longitudinal direction. The flanges are defined by a plate extending along the longitudinal direction between two ends of the structure. The flange (2) integrates a hemi-cylindrical receiving portion (6) extending along the longitudinal direction. The receiving portion presents a radial opening (10) against which a guiding portion (8) is extended. An independent claim is also included for an assembly comprising a gas generator that is in communication with an airbag.
