The bin (1) has a case delimited by a base and lateral walls (3) and closed at an end by a front wall (4). The walls are lateral convex walls forming a ventral segment of convexity turned towards exterior of the bin. The lateral wall is formed of a frame (6, 7) delimiting an opening (17) closed by a metallic flange bent around an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the bin, where the flange forms the ventral segment of the wall (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a bin.
