The trolley or truck, having load-carrying forks (7) that can be raised or lowered on a mobile frame (1) with a drive (2) and control system (3), has pairs of rollers (8) on the free ends of the forks that can be adjusted by a system of levers (9, 11, 12), rods (19) and hydraulic cylinders (5, 17). By raising or lowering the rollers the free ends of the forks are able to compensate for the slope of ramp surfaces.
