DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING METAL NANO-POWDER USING THE PLASMA

A method for synthesizing metallic nanopowder is provided to improve productivity with a relatively simple device. A device for synthesizing metallic nanopowder comprises: a plasma generator equipped with a powder supply unit, an electromagnetic wave generating unit, a waveguide and a discharge tube; a gas/powder supply unit; and a reactor in which powder supplied from the gas/powder supply unit changes to a gas phase and becomes metallic nanopowder after a reduction or oxidation reaction. The gas/powder supply unit feeds: either metal oxide powder and reducing gas, which are heated up to 25-300°C; or reduced metal powder and oxidizing gas. The reactor is connected to the lower part of the discharge tube.
