<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear structure for a vehicle cargo bed that facilitates to set a deflector plate into a use state or into a non-use state without any complicated work. <P>SOLUTION: When a tonneau cover 8 is used, the tonneau cover 8 is set in a developing position covering at least the rear end side of an upper opening of a cargo bed 2. In the developing position, the tonneau cover 8 changes a direction of an air flow occurring during vehicle traveling so as to reduce air resistance. When the tonneau cover 8 is not used, the tonneau cover 8 set at the developing position is rotationally moved.
