An apparatus for exhausting a high temperature gas is provided to easily cool a high temperature gas due to an arc by coupling an exhausting pipe in a rear part of a shield. An apparatus for exhausting a high temperature gas includes an external case(1), a movable arc contact(120), a fixing arc contact(110), a shield(118), and an exhausting pipe(130). The external case is filled by an SF6 gas. The movable arc contact is positioned inside the external case. The fixing arc contact conducts a current by contacting with the movable arc contact. The shield surrounds the fixing arc contact. The exhausting pipe is coupled in a rear part of the shield. The exhausting pipe has a hole(132) for exhausting a high temperature gas due to an arc. The hole has a metal net for dispersing the high temperature gas.
