<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address system translation technology capable of performing subsequent communications, even when an address information is directly described in response information. <P>SOLUTION: A translator 20 receives a GetMessage from an IPv6 node 1 and inspects an IP address lookup table 22 to perform address translation, and transmits the GetMessage to an IPv4: a node 3. If a response is received, while the translator 20 inspects the IP address lookup table 22 in order to specify a reply destination, the translator 20 checks whether IPv4 address information exists in data of the response or not. When it is affirmative, it inspects whether an address to be translated already exists in the IP address lookup table 22 or not, If it exists, it is translated into an IPv6 address corresponding to an IPv4 address. If it does not exist, an IPv6 address corresponding to the IPv4 address is assigned, and registered at the address lookup table 22, while it is translated into an IPv6 address corresponding to the IPv4 address, and a translated response is transmits to the IPv6 node 1 which is the specified reply destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
