PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger not requiring an inspection process of an internal leak. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes a body part 21 formed with a high pressure side passage 22 and a low pressure side passage 23 arranged at the outer periphery of the high pressure side passage 22; a small diameter part 25 provided to project from the end of the body part 21 to extend the passage length of the high pressure side passage 22 longer than the passage length of the low pressure side passage 23 and formed in a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the body part 21; a first connector 31 connecting the high pressure side passage 22 to first external piping 33; and a second connector 41 connecting the lower pressure side passage 23 to second external piping 44. The body part 21 is constituted to allow heat exchange of a high pressure refrigerant with a low pressure refrigerant through a partition wall part 24. The first connector 31 is formed with a joint pipe part 32 joined to the inner periphery of the small diameter part 25, and the second connector 41 is formed with a body part joint hole 42 joined to the outer periphery of the body part 21, and a small diameter joint hole 43 joined to the outer periphery of the small diameter part 25.
