METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ORGANIC TFT, AND ORGANIC TFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic TFT capable of obtaining superior characteristics and high reliability without complicating manufacturing processes and raising price, and to provide the organic TFT.

SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the organic TFT having a source-drain electrode and an organic semiconductor layer formed on the source-drain electrode, the source-drain electrode is formed through at least two steps: a step of forming a patterned base layer on a predetermined member; and a step of forming a discontinuous electrode surface layer having a plurality of openings partially exposing the base layer on the base layer. The organic semiconductor layer is formed on the electrode surface layer and the base layer partially exposed through the plurality of openings.
