PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood including an oil and fat capturing member capable of capturing oil and fat contained in waste gas on this side of a connecting port of a hood communicating with the interior of a blower unit without a grease filter. SOLUTION: The waste gas G flows through a capture space M from a suction gap S along a downward opening peripheral edge 9 of the capture space M of the hood part 1 toward the connecting port 5 to the interior of the blower unit 2. The waste gas is brought into contact with the oil and fat capturing member 10 to change the flowing direction thereof, and the member captures the oil and fat from the waste gas G. A waste gas contact projecting part 10b of the capturing oil and fat capturing member is disposed to face the interior of the blower unit 2 through the connecting port 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
