PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a surge of a supercharger by accurately detecting a rotating sped of the supercharger, by minimizing an arithmetic operation load applied to an ECU, in an engine having the supercharger. SOLUTION: This engine 1 has a rotating speed sensor 5 of a turbocharger 7 and the supercharger for outputting at least one pulse per one rotation.
