A membrane-electrode assembly, an electrolytic cell adopting the same, an electrolyzed water spray, and a sterilization method are provided to improve bactericidal and mold removal effect due to the high affinity of electrolyzed water to the cell membrane of the mold and bacteria. A membrane-electrode assembly comprises one or more electrodes(7) of tube or rod shape, a tubular membrane(8) arranged around the electrode, and a line-shaped counter electrode(9) arranged around the diaphragm. The diaphragm is fixed to the electrode by the counter electrode so that an electrode chamber with a gas-liquid path is formed between the diaphragm and the electrode. The counter electrode is rolled in a spiral shape with the pitch of 1~10mm.
