PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a titanium alloy where, in a method for melting a titanium alloy where pure titanium is used as a base, and the content of nitrogen is intentionally increased, only the content of nitrogen in the titanium alloy can be effectively increased by an inexpensive method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a titanium alloy, a mixture raw material of a titanium material and an alloy additive is packed into a raw material feeder, and the mixture raw material is fed to an electron beam melting furnace, wherein the inside of the raw material feeder packed with the mixed raw material is heated and held to the boiling point of water or above, and is further held to the reduced pressure, and thereafter, the mixture raw material is fed to the electron beam melting furnace.
