PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance vibration damping performance without increasing a space occupied by a vibration damping device. SOLUTION: A second elastic body 12 is inserted between the opposed plate parts 10a of a spiral plate spring 10. Frictional force generating members 11 are inserted between the second elastic body 12 and the surfaces of the plate parts 10a, respectively. Each frictional force generating member 11 comprises an adhesive layer 15 inserted between the surface of the plate part 10a and the second elastic body 12 and a film 16 inserted between the adhesive layer 15 and the second elastic body 12.
