<p>The invention relates to a wearable object, such as a timepiece, that includes a dial (4) covered by a clock glass (2), the wearable object (1) including an electronic circuit (16) for controlling at least one clock function or a function not related with time, the wearable object further including at least one light source (12) and an associated light detector (10) arranged at the level of the dial (4), the light source (12) emitting through the glass (2) a light beam that is at least partially reflected towards the light detector (10) when intercepted by a finger (D) of the user applied on the glass (2) of said wearable object, the light detector (10) transmitting to the control electronic circuit (16) an electric signal for activating the corresponding function when it detects the light generated by the light source (12) and reflected by the finger (D) of the user, wherein said portable object is characterised in that the light source (12) generates a collimated light by forming on the glass (2) a spot having a predetermined size in order to define on said glass (2) the location where the user must place his finger.</p> |
