<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking stylus forming a recess improved in contrast, low in cost and easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The marking stylus 4 used for a vibrating pen of a marking device for incising a workpiece with a tip 4b while vibrating the marking stylus 4 in a perpendicular direction to the worked surface of the workpiece.
