PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container washing apparatus which is capable of washing the whole surface of the inner surface and outer surface of a container even if the container is difficult to self-support or lightweight. SOLUTION: In the rotation table 11, the vessel 1 of which the mouth 1b is directed to the lower part is supported by the vessel supporting part 13 installed so as to be rotatable. The inside washing nozzle 6 is inserted into the inside of the vessel and the outside washing nozzle 7 is installed at the outside. The inside nozzle and the outside nozzle jet the washing liquid to the inner and outer faces of the vessel. The resultant force of each energization force to press the vessel to the lower part by the washing liquid jetted from the inside washing nozzle and the outside washing nozzle is set more greatly than the resultant force of the energization force to elevate the vessel so that the vessel is held by the vessel supporting part under press.
