<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high-speed zapping in an information distribution system including a plurality of channels for distributing program data, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to a plurality of individual channel for distributing different program data with high quality, respectively, a fundamental channel is provided for collectively distributing the program data of the individual channels with low quality, and each terminal device includes a communication processing means for receiving program data distributed by the individual channel selected by a user and the fundamental channel, respectively, and a playback processing means for playing back the program data of the individual channel received by the communication processing means, wherein, when the individual channel is switched, until program data distributed by the individual channel to which switching has been performed, are enabled to be played back, the relevant playback processing means plays back program data corresponding to the individual channel to which switching has been performed, among low-quality program data distributed by the fundamental channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
