PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistant steel product for cargo oil tank, which has excellent resistance to general corrosion and localized corrosion and superior toughness in a large heat input welded joint, while using neither Cu nor Ni. SOLUTION: The corrosion resistant steel product for cargo oil tank has a composition which consists of, by mass, 0.01 to 0.2% C, 0.01 to 1% Si, 0.05 to 2% Mn,≤0.05% P,≤0.01% S, 0.01 to 0.3% Sn,≤0.1% Cr,≤0.1% Al and the balance Fe with impurities and in which Cu and Ni, among the impurities, are <0.05% and <0.05%, respectively. Further, one or more elements among Mo, W, Sb, Ti, Zr, Nb, V, B, Ca and Mg can be contained. Moreover, the surface thereof can be coated with a corrosion protective film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
